Occupational Health and Safety

Safety standardization 

          On Aug. 07, 2020, Tianhe Pharma was successfully certified as Grade 2 enterprise for work safety standardization. Through the implementation of standardization system in the company, the possible operation related risks against the staff and related personnel was eliminated effectively and reduced as much as possible. Comprehensively regulate and improve occupational health and safety management, minimize various injuries and occupational disease, and continuously meet the     requirements of the laws and regulations. 

Occupational Health

        The company has perfect operation procedure for occupational disease prevention and contingency plan for occupational-disease-inductive accidents, declaring occupational-disease-inductive items in accordance with the law, formulating  occupational hazard prevention plan and implementation plan, establishing and improving occupational health records and health surveillance files of employees providing regular check-ups to all employees and all kinds of protection facilities of occupational diseases and the labor protection articles, and testing periodically for the occupational-disease-inductive factors .

Safety management

        The company has safety lead team to conduct systematic management for safety production, formulate double prevention mechanism of security risk classification control and hidden danger investigation and management including systematic assessment on potential risks periodically and implement effective control measures, strict control for “two key point one major”. The company organize the training to all staffs for safety production by means of self-training and external experts training every week; hold safety knowledge contest every month;  practice contingency plan for various projects every half year to improve the practicability of contingency plan and actual capability for related staff. The company totally invested 80 million RMB for construction of safety production information system, automatic alarm system for combustible and toxic gases, automatic fire alarm system 

Fire Emergency

        To implement the policy of " Fire Prevention First Prevention and Control Combined" , the company established volunteer fire team for better prepared. Every year, the company invite external experts to train the staff for combined fire-fighting knowledge with theory and company actual situation, to observe the drill of safety production accidents of the company and provide corrective comment. Drill is actual combat, which help to upgrade the fire safety accident prevention level of the company and improve the emergency ability of employees

Environment protection

        Jiangsu Tianhe Pharmaceutical Co., LTD. devotes to promote the healthy development of enterprises and fully understand the importance of environment protection simultaneously. Environment is the base of enterprise's development.  Environment pollution will not only affect the enterprise's social reputation, reduce the credibility of enterprise and international competitiveness of products, but also be not conducive to the sustainable and healthy development of the enterprise.So the company fully implement the strategic thought of clean production and sustainable development.

“Three wastes” disposal facility

Waste gas disposal facility 

        The company has nine sets of waste gas disposal facilities, among which the advanced low nitrogen combustion technology be used for the gas-fired boiler.

Waste water disposal facility

        The waste water disposal facility of the company is with the process as physical chemistry--secondary A/O--Precipitation discharge. The designed capability of the facility is 800m³/d 

 Solid waste storage disposal

        The company has a special solid waste storage site which covers an area of 1000 square meters, so the household garbage and hazardous solid wastes in our company can be properly stored and disposed

Clean production 

        On Nov. 26, 2016, Jiangsu Tianhe Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd was approved by Yangzhou Environment Protection Bureau for clean production. The implementation of related clean production protocol leads to obtain the purpose of energy saving, consumption reduction, pollution reduction and efficiency increase, improve the economic, environmental and social benefits, lay a solid foundation for the sustainable development of the company.

Energy Conservation and Emissions Reduction

            Jiangsu Tianhe Pharmaceutical co., Ltd has always attached great importance to safety, environmental protection, occupational health and enterprise's sustainable development, and pay attention to the work in these areas:

            Water consumption in 2019 fell 3.1% than in 2018, energy consumption of every ten thousand yuan output value in 2019 was reduced by 4.7% than in 2018.The original commitment as reducing 2.0% and 2.5% were achieved.

       Based on products structure adjustment and the company production plan of 2020 and 2021,the company makes the promise in the aspect of water control and energy conservation as follows:

            The water consumption (water consumption of every ten thousand yuan output value) : 3.5% lower in 2020 than in 2019, 3.2% lower in 2021 than in 2020

            The energy consumption (energy consumption of every ten thousand yuan output value ) : 5.0% lower in 2020 than in 2019, 4.5% lower in 2021 than in 2020.
